JAKARTA - Inter Milan successfully closed the match against Venezia in the 23rd week of the English League through a comeback with a final score of 2-1. This makes Inter the king of comebacks in the Italian League this season.
Appearing at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday, January 23 in the morning WIB, Inter Milan actually appeared to dominate from the start of the match. Simone Inzaghi's troops even held possession of the ball up to 70 percent.
However, the dominance was even more stifling when they conceded first by Venezia in the 19th minute. The 1-0 goal belonged to the visitors after Thomas Henry successfully received Ethan Ampadu's cross which was finished with a header right into the goal of Samir Handanovic.
It took a lot of effort for Inter Milan to equalize Venezia, the Nerazzurri's efforts finally bore fruit towards the end of the match. Through the action of Nicolo Barella who took advantage of feedback from Ivan Perisic, Inter closed the first half with the score 1-1.
After the break, the hosts continued to play with big ambitions by continuing to bombard the Venezia defense. Despite desperately defending, Venezia's defensive wall finally collapsed in the 90th minute.
