Welcoming IKN, Banjar Kaltim Residents Must Improve HR Competence
JAKARTA - Residents from Banjar who live in the province of East Kalimantan are asked to continue to improve the competence of human resources (HR) to welcome the transfer of the National Capital City (IKN) to this province, in order to be able to compete professionally.
"Banjar people must prepare themselves from now on to continue to improve their skills in welcoming the transfer of new IKN to East Kalimantan Province," said Chairman of the East Kalimantan Banjar Harmony (KBBKT) Irianto Lambrie in Samarinda, quoted from Antara, Saturday, January 22.
Moreover, the IKN Bill has been ratified into the IKN Law in the DPR RI Plenary Meeting, on Tuesday 18 January 2022, so that it will continue with the construction of a new IKN which will then move to East Kalimantan.
He continued, IKN's move to East Kalimantan was a blessing to be grateful for, so this gratitude must be balanced with continuing to increase individual human resources, so that Banjar residents in East Kalimantan have the opportunity to play an active role in nation building.
"We must continue to increase our potential, continue to improve quality so that we have high competitiveness in the face of the times, including facing the transfer of IKN," said the former Governor of Kaltara for the 2016-2021 period.
The people of Banjar, he continued, must also continue to unite, not be easily provoked by any issue that can divide unity and integrity, especially provocations that lead to the division of the nation and state.
This is also in accordance with the theme of the event held today, namely "Banjar Rakat (Rukun), Banjar Bersatu, Banjar Strong", so that Banjar residents are asked not to be easily influenced by issues that have the potential to cause division.
This was said by Irianto after being confirmed by the Governor of East Kalimantan, Isran Noor, who is also the Chairperson of the KBBKT Trustees as General Chair. The inauguration of the KBBKT Provincial Management for the 2022-2027 Period was carried out at the Plenary Hall of the Madya Sempaja Sports Building (GOR) Samarinda.
In addition to the governor, the event was also attended by the Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan Hadi Mulyadi, Sultan Khairul Saleh Mustaim Billah from the Banjar Sultanate, representatives of associations and associations from various ethnic groups, as well as hundreds of invitees.
