A Total Of 60 Villages In Murung Raya, Central Kalimantan Will Be Built With Electricity Networks
KALTENG - The Government of Murung Raya Regency, Central Kalimantan, together with PT PLN Persero through the Puruk Cahu Customer Service Unit (ULP), will gradually build an electricity network of 60 villages in the district until 2024.
"We are synchronizing various opinions from the village head, PT PLN Persero ULP Puruk Cahu and the Murung Raya Regency Government to consider the draft electricity network development plan," said Murung Raya Regional Secretary Hermon in Puruk Cahu, Antara, Friday, January 21.
Meanwhile, Manager of PT PLN Persero ULP Puruk Cahu Galih Wicasono conveyed that electricity development in Murung Raya Regency for 2022 to 2024 will be built in stages.
He said this year there were nine villages in two sub-districts to be built. Then in 2023, there are 47 villages in six sub-districts to be built.
"In 2024, there are 19 villages in four sub-districts that will also be built, bringing the total to 60 villages," explained Galih.
He also really hopes for optimal support from the local government, lurah, sub-district and village heads as well as the community in terms of building the long network, especially for productive plants belonging to the community which can cause difficulties later in the construction of the electricity network.
He said that later development requires the cooperation of all parties because our task is not only to build but also to carry out routine maintenance.
"We hope that the electricity network will not be installed until the electricity network is disrupted due to trees, which of course is very detrimental to the community as well," said Galih.
