Unable To Pay Rp1 Billion In Debt, Pregnant Woman Selling Cooking Oil Online In Depok Wants To Sell Her Kidneys
DEPOK - Melvi Monita (23) resident of Jalan Waru Raya 1 RT6/22, Mekarjaya, Sukmajaya Depok, intends to sell her kidney. Not without reason, the mother of two children admitted that she needed money because she was in debt of Rp. 1 billion.
Melvi explained that at first he tried selling cooking oil online. But in the middle of the trip, Melvi suffered a big loss.
"Why did it get so big, because I fell into digging holes to cover holes. I've just tried this business," said Melvi to reporters, Friday, January 21.
Melvi said that various ways have been taken to cover the debt. Starting from mortgaging his brother's house certificate, selling motorbikes and cellphones. However, his efforts were in vain because the amount of debt reached one billion.
"I've tried various ways but there is no way out. That's why I decided to sell the kidney, the risk I already know and I'm ready. And this has been approved by the big family," said Melvi tearfully.
In the same place, Melvi's husband, Rizki Ramdani (26) revealed that he had agreed with his wife's decision. Because, for him there is no other way that can be taken.
"I hope there is a way out, to be honest, I haven't been honest about my wife selling her kidney. I hope someone can help us out of this problem," said Rizki.
