There Are 9 Students And 2 Teachers Who Are Positive For COVID-19 At SMKN 35 Jakarta, PTM Is Temporarily Suspended

JAKARTA - A total of nine students and two teachers at SMK Negeri 35 in Krukut Village, Taman Sari Sub-district, West Jakarta, tested positive for COVID-19 based on the results of an antigen swab test. Face-to-face learning (PTM) at the school was temporarily suspended for 14 days.

"From the results of the antigen swab test, nine students and two educators have tested positive," said Head of SMKN 35, Sopandi, quoted by Antara, Friday, January 21.

Sopandi said that the findings of nine positive students and two teachers began when the Krukut Village was tracking or tracing the red zone area of RW 02.

Because the school is in the red zone area, some students and teachers are required to take a swab test provided by the health center. Based on these results, nine students and two teachers tested positive.

Sopandi ensured that the positive students and teachers did not have any congenital symptoms or diseases. "Actually, OTG and we have not confirmed whether they are positive for COVID-19, the Omicron variant or not. They are also still healthy," said Sopandi.

Sopandi said, online KBM continues to run conducive even though there are students and teachers who are exposed to COVID-19.

Previously, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said, a total of 39 schools in DKI Jakarta that held PTM were then temporarily closed due to the findings of COVID-19 cases.

"To date, there is an increase in the number of closed schools, a total of 39 schools have been closed, but some have reopened," said Riza at Jakarta City Hall, Monday, January 18.

Of the number of schools, Riza said, there were 62 students exposed to COVID-19, two educators and three education staff.

For the most part, Riza continued, the cause for the time being was from outside the school. "Either from traveling or from home, it can be seen from the average level of exposure per school between one or two cases," he said.
