Attorney General Needs Files For Prosecutor Pinangki And Djoko Tjandra For Immediate Trial
JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) is speeding up the filing of a case of alleged gratification / bribery in the processing of a Supreme Court (MA) fatwa with suspected prosecutors Pinangki Sirna Malasari and Djoko Tjandra. When the filing is completed, the cases of the two suspects can be tried immediately.
The Investigation Director of the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah, said that in the filing process the investigating team also discussed with the research prosecutor and the public prosecutor (JPU).
"In order for this to be brought to trial quickly so that the public can know at the trial how the construction, the actions of Pinangki and Djoko Tjandra happened. Then who was involved in the investigation carried out by the Attorney General's Office," Febrie told reporters, Tuesday, September 1.
In addition, the filing process was speeded up because according to him, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin had his attention. It is targeted that the case file will be completed soon.
"That is already the line of the Attorney General and Jampidsus, who is involved, we will investigate it thoroughly until the trial," concluded Febrie.
Meanwhile, Attorney Pinangki Sirna Malasari was named a suspect in the case of alleged bribery or receiving gratification for the Supreme Court's fatwa for not executing Djoko Tjandra in the Bank Bali case. Pinangki was charged under Article 5 letter b of the Corruption Crime Law.
Meanwhile, Djoko Tjandra was named a suspect as the party who gave the bribe. Djoko is suspected of paying Rp7 billion in bribes to Pinangki.
Djoko was charged with article 5 paragraph 1 letter a of Law 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption, as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001. The second allegation, article 5 paragraph 1 letter b of the Law and or article 13 of the Corruption Eradication Law.
