JAKARTA - The Intelligence Team of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office in collaboration with the Maluku Prosecutor's Office team arrested Nizar Alkatiri (39) who is on the People's Wanted List for being a suspect in the alleged DD-ADD corruption in East Seram Regency.
"Nizar was caught in the Jalan Senen Raya area, Central Jakarta, last Wednesday at 21:42 WIB," said Head of Penkum and Public Relations of the Maluku Attorney General's Office, Wahyudi Kareba in Ambon, Antara, Friday, January 21.

"Nizar is a suspect in the alleged corruption case of DD-ADD in the Tobo Administrative State, Werinama District, SBT Regency for the 2016-2018 budget year with an estimated total state loss of Rp1,326 billion," Wahyudi explained.
Determination as a suspect based on an investigation warrant (P-8) Number: PRINT-01/Q.1.17/Fd.2/02/2021 dated February 5, 2021, and a DPO stipulation letter against him because he had fled.
The suspect is an ASN who served in the Werinama District Office, as well as the former acting head of the Tobo Administrative State government from 2016 to 2018. Now the suspect has been detained by the prosecutor for the purposes of further investigation.
Wahyudi added that based on the report on the results of the examination of the Tobo Administrative State DD-ADD for the 2016 2017 and 2018 fiscal years Number: 700/14-lhp.ltkab.SBT/IX/2021 dated 21 September 2021, the state financial losses for the 2016 fiscal year amounted to Rp. 111.4 million.
Then the 2017 budget year is IDR 707.3 million, and the 2018 fiscal year is IDR 886.3 million
Then it was reduced by the budget deposited into the regional treasury of Rp378.4 million, bringing the total financial loss to the Tobo State Administrative DD-ADD for the three fiscal years amounting to Rp1,326 billion.
