Sri Mulyani Staff Disseminate HPP Law Aim For Crazy Rich East Java: Governor Khofifah Present
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance, led by the Deputy Minister of Finance (Wamenkeu) continues the roadshow of socialization of the Law on the Harmonization of Tax Regulations (UU HPP) to various regions in Indonesia. On this occasion, East Java was chosen to be the umpteenth region visited by the ranks of Sri Mulyani.
"We specifically invite taxpayers (WP) to take advantage of the existing facilities in the HPP Law," said Deputy Minister of Finance Suahasil in a press statement on Friday, January 21.
According to him, the HPP Law which was ratified in Law Number 7/2021 last year has a number of programs that can be utilized by taxpayers.
"Several programs have been running, such as Voluntary Disclosure, which has been running since January 1, 2022. To all taxpayers, all Indonesian people, to be able to take advantage of all existing facilities at HPP," he said.
The Deputy Minister of Finance added that in this socialization, various new provisions regulated in the HPP Law were also explained.
“Achieving the tax revenue target in 2021 is a new era of taxation, and this new era is accompanied by political agreement, political approval to see our new tax construction in the future. What are they? This is what is in the HPP Law," he explained.
The Deputy Minister of Finance hopes that through this roadshow initiative to socialize the HPP Law in several cities in Indonesia, the Ministry of Finance wants the material for the HPP Law to be conveyed in its entirety, complete, and clearly because the material is delivered directly from the source.
For information, in the socialization event that was held yesterday, the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa, members of Commission XI DPR RI, Kadin, Apindo, and prominent (large) taxpayers in East Java were also present.
