Elementary School Students In Medan Allegedly Vaccine Injected Blank, Vaccination, Student Parents And IDI Experts Examined By Police

MEDAN - Police are still investigating a video of a health worker suspected of injecting empty vaccines into elementary school students in Medan. A number of people were examined.

The Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police, Kombes Hadi Wahyudi, said that after the video was published, the police immediately responded quickly and studied the viral video footage and examined the related parties.

"The team is conducting an in-depth investigation to ask for witness statements," said Kombes Hadi, Friday, January 21.

He said the video was recorded during the vaccination of children aged 6-11 years at SD Wahidin Medan Labuhan on Monday, January 17.

The implementation of the child vaccination was carried out by the Medan Labuhan Police in the Labuhan Belawan Police area unit. Primary school student vaccination in collaboration with Delima Martbung Hospital.

Kombes Hadi said the video was recorded by one of K's parents when his daughter O (11) was being vaccinated. After returning home, the victim's parents showed and sent the video to his family and on Thursday, January 20.

"Currently, the North Sumatran Police are examining the vaccinator Initial G and the aplus initial W. Both are health workers at the Delima Martubung Hospital and we will also continue to investigate by asking for expert witness statements," said Kombes Hadi.

The North Sumatra Police have confiscated recorded evidence, syringes and vaccination lists.

"The victim's blood sample will also be tested at BPOM Medan and will be examined by North Sumatra IDI experts. We will convey further developments," added Kombes Hadi.
