Viral 2 Elementary School Students In Medan Allegedly Vaccine Injected Blank, Turns Out Belawan Police Vaccination Program

MEDAN - The alleged viral infection of the vaccinator injecting empty vaccines to elementary school students in Medan is still being investigated. Apparently, the vaccination of students was a program of the Belawan Harbor Police.

"Of course, related to viral, it is true that at that time, Monday, January 17, 2022, the vaccination of elementary school children in the Medan Labuhan sub-district was organized by the Belawan Police," said Medan Health Kadinkes dr Taufik Ririansyah to reporters, Friday, January 21.

The Medan Health Office has coordinated with the Belawan Police. Currently, an investigation into the suspected case of injecting empty vaccines for elementary school students is being carried out in Medan.

"We don't really know what happened, because it's still under investigation. Of course, we really regret this if it is true because we are in the middle of creating herd immunity so that we are all immune to this virus," he continued.

From coordination with the Belawan Police, it is known that two elementary school students were allegedly injected with empty vaccines. However, the Medan City Government Health Office handed over an investigation to the police.

"The result of our coordination with the police, allegedly the result of the viral video, there are two children. There may be two children, the others are still according to the procedure," continued Taufik.

Previously reported, Belawan Harbor Police Chief, AKBP Faisal Rahmad Husein Simatupang said the incident occurred at Wahidin Elementary School, Medan Labuhan District.

"So after we investigated, it turned out that the video was at Wahidin Elementary School, when vaccinating children aged 6 to 11 years," said AKBP Faisal to reporters, Thursday, January 20.

AKBP Faisal said that his party had examined a number of people, including health workers who were the vaccinators in the activity. But Faisal did not mention when the vaccination activity would take place.

"We are currently conducting an examination, so in this case. It has already undergone an examination, we will inform you of the results later," he said.

According to him, the vaccinator came from a hospital in Medan City. Meanwhile, from the video circulating, the vaccinator did not insert the vaccine when injecting the elementary student. The video shows a girl sitting up to be vaccinated. The woman who is the vaccine vaccinator is seen opening the syringe from the packaging.

From the video that was seen on Thursday, January 20, a voice was heard which was thought to have come from the vaccinator. Heard, he asked the boy's aspirations to divert his fear.

However, it turns out that the vaccinator did not put the vaccine liquid into the syringe. He immediately stuck the needle in.
