JAKARTA - The coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong received an important message from the coach of the Korean League 2 club, Ansan Greeners, Cho Min Kook. In his message, Min Kook asked Shin Tae-yong to take good care of Asnawi Mangkualam while in the Garuda Squad.

The message was conveyed by Cho Min Kook when interviewed by South Korean media, Sports-G. At first, the coach revealed that he coached Shin Jaehyuk, Shin Tae-yong's second son.

"Recently I'm giving private practice to Shin Jaehyuk," said Cho Min Kook.

"So Shin Tae Yong also has to take good care of Asnawi (Mangkualam)," the 58-year-old coach added.

Asnawi has returned to South Korea to undergo a new season with Ansan Greeners. Meanwhile, Shin Jaehyuk, the second son of Shin Tae-yong, also recently joined Ansan. That way, Jaehyuk will be in the same team as Asnawi.

Furthermore, Cho Min Kook also joked that Shin Tae-yong would be indebted to him. Because his son is now joining his care team.

"Shin Tae-yong, I took good care of your son here, you should also return the favor. I'm joking," said Cho Min Kook.

The coach who had defended the South Korean national team also praised Shin Tae-yong's performance in the Indonesian national team.

"I am very proud of Shin Tae Yong, because he was able to bring the Indonesian national team to the final of the AFF Cup," he said proudly.

Asnawi Mangkualam was one of Shin Tae-yong's favorite players when the Indonesian national team appeared in the 2021 AFF Cup in Singapore. In addition to getting the opportunity to be captain, Asnawi is also one of the players who always starts at the event.
