Had Escaped, Langkat Regent's Brother Published Plan To Ward Wind Arrived At KPK

JAKARTA - The brother of the Regent of Langkat is deactivated. Iskandar Warin Angin, the head of Balai Kasih Village, arrives at the KPK Merah Putih Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. He arrived after being questioned at the Binjai Regional Police after escaping during an arrest operation (OTT) on Tuesday, January 18.

According to VOI monitoring, Iskandar arrived at around 19.37 WIB at the KPK Building. He was seen wearing a dark blue sweater and gray hat and wearing a mask.

When he got out of the investigator's car, he was seen carrying a red suitcase. Not a word was issued by the brother of the inactive Langkat Regent.

As previously reported, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named the Langkat Regent Publishing a War Plan as a suspect in receiving bribes related to the procurement of goods and services in Langkat Regency.

He was named along with four other suspects, namely the Village Head of Balai Kasih who is the brother of Terbit Plan, Iskandar PA; and three private persons or contractors, namely Marcos Surya Abdi, Shuhandra Citra, and Isfi Syahfitra. Then as a bribe giver is Muara Warin Angin which is a private party or contractor.

When revealing the chronology of the arrests, Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron, said that Terbit had fled with his brother who is also a suspect, Iskandar. However, he eventually turned himself in to the Binjai Police, North Sumatra and was then taken to the KPK's Red and White building.
