Positive Cases Of COVID-19 Rise, Regent Of Lebak Bans Traveling
JAKARTA - Positive cases of COVID-19 in Lebak Banten have shown an increase. The Regent of Lebak, Iti Octavia, prohibits employees of the state civil apparatus (ASN / PNS) from leaving the region.
This is done to prevent and reduce the spread of COVID-19 in the regions. Iti said he would take firm action if ASNs were caught leaving the region.
"We will take firm action for ASN / PNS outside of medical personnel if they often leave the area," said Iti Octavia as quoted by Antara, Lebak, Monday.
This stern warning is in connection with the number of cases of the spread of COVID-19 in Lebak Regency soaring to 53 people as of Monday.
They are ASN / PNS who often enter and exit the area if they are positive for COVID-19, they will be subjected to a special examination (Riksus).
Likewise, people do not carry out activities outside the area, especially when they visit the COVID-19 red zone.
So far, said Iti, the high number of COVID-19 cases due to going in and out of the area and among them a family, including babies in one sub-district were identified as positive for the Corona virus.
"We urge people not to go in and out of the area to prevent the spread of COVID-19," he said.
The regent also told the community to be disciplined in obeying health protocols by wearing masks, keeping their distance and washing their hands diligently with soap.
So far, the level of public awareness of implementing the COVID-19 protocol discipline is still low, triggering a surge in Corona cases.
"We ask people to apply the discipline of wearing masks, keeping their distance and washing their hands," he said.
