The Murder Of A Woman In Jember Is Revealed, The Perpetrator Is Heartbroken Not Being Loaned By Money

JEMBER – The police uncovered the facts behind the murder of Prita Hapsari (48), a resident of Patrang District, Jember, East Java. It was revealed that the perpetrator, Hafid Prasetyo Hadi (32) slit the victim's throat because he was hurt because he was not lent money.

Jember Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP Komang Yogi Arya Wiguna said the perpetrator and the victim knew each other. The perpetrators were asked several times to help repair electronic items in the victim's house.

Three days before the murder, the victim contacted the perpetrator to repair his television. However, when checked, the television turned out to be in a badly damaged condition so the perpetrator recommended buying a new television.

"At that time the victim gave Rp2 million to the perpetrator to buy a new television and it has been found. Then to the perpetrator, the victim asked for a television that was even more expensive, from there the perpetrator thought that the victim had a lot of money so he intended to borrow money from the victim," said the AKP Komang, Thursday 20 January.

However, it turned out that the perpetrator did not get the loan money. At that time, the victim also made a sentence that offended the perpetrator.

The perpetrator was angry and pushed the victim until she fell into the bathroom and hit her head against the wall.

"From the perpetrator came the intention to kill the victim, so the perpetrator looked for a knife in the kitchen, then slashed the victim's neck. There was resistance from the victim, this was shown by the presence of cuts on the victim's body," he said.

The perpetrators also locked the victim's mother Sri Budi Dormitory Rini (76) in the room. The condition of his mouth was plastered by the perpetrator. But when the perpetrator was about to leave the house, the victim's mother managed to remove the plaster and screamed for help.

The perpetrator who was trying to escape was stopped by the residents. Two residents, namely Banaya Sangkala (35) suffered injuries to the neck, and Juan Felix (20) suffered stab wounds in the thigh after being involved in a duel with the perpetrator.

The perpetrator is now in police custody. The perpetrator was charged with Article 339 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to Article 365 of the Criminal Code.
