Polda Metro Arrests 2 Of 3 Fugitives In The Case Of Battling TNI Member Pratu Sahdi
JAKARTA - The police said they had arrested two of the three fugitives in the case of the beating that led to the death of Army (AD) member Pratu Sahdi. Where, one of them is the main actor.
"There are 3 DPOs, 2 of them have been secured," said the Director of General Crime Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police Kombes Tubagus Ade Hidayat when confirmed, Thursday, January 20.
The main actor in the series of beating cases was named Baharudin. He was taken into custody after turning himself in.
"He turned himself in to his boss, he told him on the ship. Then we picked him up in the Muara Baru area," said Tubagus.
Meanwhile, one other person was arrested in the Penjaringan area on Wednesday, January 19. It's just that, no further details about his identity.
"One more person was arrested in the Penjaringan area, at his relative's house," said Tubagus.
Previously, Tubagus had also said that in this case his party had determined three perpetrators as fugitives. Where, one of them is Baharudin.
"This person is on behalf of Baharudin, he is the one who is strongly suspected of carrying out the stabbing action. Then the second is the DPO on behalf of Sapri, we have determined this as a suspect and are currently still being chased and the third is the DPO on behalf of Ardi," said Tubagus.
Meanwhile, in the case of the beating that occurred in the Pluit Reservoir area, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, the police have named six suspects. Including three people who became fugitives.
Currently, the suspects who have been arrested are charged with Article 170 regarding beatings and 351 of the Criminal Code concerning persecution.
