OTT In PN Surabaya, KPK Arrests Judges, Clerks And Lawyers On Alleged Bribery
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that the arrest operation (OTT) at the Surabaya District Court secured judges, clerks and lawyers.
"In this series of arrests, so far the KPK has arrested 3 people. Among them are judges, clerks and lawyers suspected of committing a criminal act of corruption in giving and receiving money related to handling cases at the Surabaya District Court," said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Sector Ali Fikri told reporters, Thursday, January 20.
Furthermore, Ali said, the three people who were caught OTT were undergoing examination. "KPK is still examining the detained parties," he said. Now, the KPK has 1x24 hours to immediately determine the legal status of the parties involved in the silent operation. The public is asked to be patient and not to take any speculation.
"Within 1 × 24 hours, the KPK will immediately determine its position on the results of the arrest. The progress will be conveyed," said Ali.
