'I Feel Guilty', Said Ganjar When He Saw The Bridge In Banjarnegara, What's Wrong?
BANJARNEGARA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo admitted that he felt very guilty when he saw the condition of the bridge connecting Jebenplampitan Village, Sukoharjo District, Wonosobo Regency with Larangan Village, Pagentan District, Banjarnegara Regency which was damaged by floods at the end of 2021.
Wednesday, January 19, Ganjar, who was checking the extreme poverty alleviation program in Banjarnegara, took the time to stop by to see his condition.
"Sir, I'm carrying vegetables, sir. It's hard to break the bridge," shouted a mother in Jebengplampitan village when she saw Ganjar being inspected.
"Iyo, bu ngko ben is dressed up, is it vaccinated, durung?" Ganjar's statement replied to the mother's complaint.
Ganjar's activities here were accompanied by representatives of relevant officials from the Regency Government, then he regretted the attitude of someone who finally made the bridge construction canceled.
“So I feel guilty, come on, so I ask this now, I will help. I'm the one who wakes up or not? If we want, we will finish it," said Ganjar.
Ganjar said that the budget for the bridge construction is estimated at Rp. 2.2 billion and will be prepared soon.
"We've calculated that it's not expensive, it's around IDR 2.2 billion, I understand the calculation. So in 2019, I'm here, I'm sorry, it's a pity for the people. If we can make this a priority, we'll encourage it, "said Ganjar.
In line with that, Ganjar through the Department of Public Works, Highways and Cipta Karya also urged to immediately complete the design of the bridge building.
"This may be permanent later and we have asked the provincial government office to design it, so we will communicate it later," he said.
Ganjar will try to realize the bridge construction as soon as possible. Thus, the bridge that connects the two areas can be used again by the community.
Meanwhile, the people who usually use the bridge were forced to turn a considerable distance.
"Hopefully later, after coming from here, I ask from the Department of Highways to immediately design so that it will be quickly (built)," he said.
For information, the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo and the Deputy Governor of Central Java Taj Yasin in 2019 visited and promised to immediately build the bridge using the 2020 FY APBD or through the BNPB post-disaster budget.
However, at the 2019 Musrenbangprov event, the Banjarnegara Regent at that time refused to apply for a Regency/City Bankeu sourced from the Central Java Provincial Budget for the FY 2020. The bridge construction has not been realized after the Banjarnegara Regent was OTT by the KPK at the end of 2021.
