Ganjar Continues To Repair PDIP Cadre Houses That Are Unfit For Habitation, This Time He Has A Husband And Wife In Banjarnegara
JAKARTA - Supono (43) and his wife Sukanti (35), were shocked to see the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo entering his 6x9 house. His happiness increased when Ganjar immediately offered to renovate his house.
"Pak Ganjar, thank you, sir, it's like a dream," said Pono when he met Ganjar, Wednesday, January 19.
Ganjar immediately reacted and woke Supono who was trying to hug his legs. While asking Supono to stop crying, Ganjar invited him to sit in the living room.
Supono and his wife, Sukanti (35), live in a hut left by their late parents in Gemuruh Village, Bawang District, Banjarnegara. Supono, who works odd jobs every day, cannot afford to renovate his house.
"It's like a dream, sir, to meet you," said Supono, wiping his tears.
"To me, it's like a dream, meeting you. Say hello to Kye salake (I also had a dream to meet you, who is this Salak)," said Ganjar comforting Supono.
Supono said that the house he lived in was the legacy of his wife's late parents. It is estimated that the house is more than half a century old and has never been repaired.
"If it rains, he sleeps at his sister's place. Joins because he is still single," he said.
Supono is the Branch Manager of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) as Deputy Secretary of the Branch. Supono did not expect that in broad daylight he could sit side by side with a governor.
"What kind of dinggo room do you have? The warehouse? What do you want with Bojone?" asked Ganjar.
Supono works odd jobs. Meanwhile, his wife occasionally works as a laundry worker. Ganjar asked Supono to find a permanent job.
"Sir, the sound of the toilet rattle," joked Sukanti.
Ganjar, who was originally about to say goodbye, immediately looked at the Rumble Village Head. Laughter broke. To the village head, Ganjar asked him to list the houses of residents who do not have latrines.
"Yawis, how come the rest of the latrines work together, yes. Mr. village head, the residents have recorded their own latrines, don't need to go down (yes, all the latrines will be made, let's work together, Mr. Kades will record the residents who don't have latrines, so they don't defecate indiscriminately)," said Ganjar.
Before saying goodbye, Ganjar had time to greet the residents. When asked about latrines, it turns out that there are still many people who defecate in the river. This has also caught Ganjar's attention and asked all ranks to pay attention.
“Pak Danramil, please help later because many people don't have latrines. The residents work together, yes, tomorrow it will start," said Ganjar.
Ganjar's activity in renovating the cadre's house is in commemoration of the party's anniversary. Ganjar received reports of many militant cadres living in inadequate housing. At the same time in order to check the poverty alleviation program in Banjarnegara.
"I checked the extreme poverty alleviation program but at the same time met with some friends because yesterday finally a lot of people reported to me," said Ganjar.
He hopes that his arrival can ignite the enthusiasm of the cadres around Supono to work together to build his house to make it more livable.
"Hopefully, later on, all of my friends' children can work together to improve their condition while we watch the progress," said Ganjar.
Supono and his wife Sukanti stammered when they explained their feelings to Ganjar Pranowo. So far, both of them claimed to have only seen Ganjar's figure from the television screen.
"Thank you very much, Mr. Ganjar, thank you, mriki ajeng ndandosi. It leaks every time it rains. Recently (meeting the governor), it's like a dream to meet Pak Gangar," said Sukanti and Supono.
