Increasing, Now There Are 47 RT In Jakarta Flooded, 57 Residents Refuge
JAKARTA - The number of RTs submerged by floods after raining from morning to evening in Jakarta has increased. This afternoon, there were 10 RTs that were submerged. As of 18.00 WIB, the flood points increased to 47 RT.
"Inundation information as of 18.00 WIB is in 47 RTs out of 30,470 RTs in DKI Jakarta," said Head of the DKI BPBD Disaster Information and Data Center M. Insaf to reporters, Tuesday, January 18.
Insaf explained, there were 46 RTs that were flooded in West Jakarta. The details are in Kapuk Village as many as 18 RT, Cengkareng Timur Village 6 RT, Cengkareng Barat Village 1 RT, Kamal Village 3 RT, Tegal Alur Village 16 RT, Kembangan Utara Village 1 RT, and Wijaya Kusuma Village 1 RT.
"The water level ranges from 40 to 70 centimeters, which is the cause of high rainfall. Especially in Tegal Alur, the flood reaches 90 centimeters due to high rainfall and overflowing of the Semonggol River," said Insaf.
In addition to West Jakarta, there is 1 RT in Cempaka Putih Barat Village, Central Jakarta. The RT was flooded with a height of up to 60 centimeters due to high rainfall.
Insaf revealed that 57 people from 9 families in the Tegal Alur Village had fled because their houses were submerged. They took refuge in the Tegal Alur Flats.
Furthermore, Insaf said that currently there are 8 roads that are inundated. There are 1 road in Central Jakarta, 2 in North Jakarta, and 5 in West Jakarta. The water level ranges from 40 to 70 centimeters.
"The condition of the inundation is being handled by the Local Kelurahan with PPSU, the BPBD TRC Team, DSDA, Satpol PP, Tagana, and Disgulkarmat. The inundation is targeted to subside in a short time," he explained.
