Close To The New Capital City, Palu City Government Prepares 1 Hectare Land To Build Indonesian Air Force Base
PALU - The Palu City Government has prepared an area of 1 hectare designated for the construction of the Indonesian Air Force air base in Palu.
This was discussed during a working visit by the TNI AU Commander of the Air Force Commander Marsda Minggit Tribowo with the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government which was received directly by the Governor of Central Sulawesi, Rusdy Mastura and the Mayor of Palu, Hadianto Rasyid, in Palu, Tuesday, January 18.
"I really support the plan to build an air base, it is hoped that the Palu City Government is serious about the land preparation process," said Rusdy Mastura as quoted by Antara.
According to Rusdy, the TNI-AU air base in Palu is appropriate considering the strategic location of the Central Sulawesi region close to the new nation's capital city. "We will support to help the Palu city government provide the location," he said.
Meanwhile, Head of the National and Political Unity Agency (Kesbangpol) of Palu City, Ansyar Sutiadi, added that the Palu city government had prepared an area of 1 hectare for the plan to build an air base for the Indonesian Air Force in Palu City.
"Previously, 1 hectare was available, then it will be carried out according to the needs and policy directions of the governor and mayor," explained Ansyar.
The working visit of Pangkoops II TNI AU Marsda TNI Minggit Tribowo in Central Sulawesi was accompanied by Irkoopsau II Marsma TNI Eduard Sri Wisnu M, Danlanud HND Marsma TNI David Y Tambotu.
"The plan to build an air base in Palu City is expected to get the support of the local government and prepare the land for its construction," said TNI AU Commander Marsda TNI Minggit Tribowo.
