Police Examined For 5 Hours Regarding Luhut's Business Accusations In Papua, Haris Azhar And Fatia's Statuses Are Still Witnesses
JAKARTA - Human Rights Activist Haris Azhar and KontraS Coordinator Fatia Maulidiyanti have completed their examination in the alleged defamation case. In this case, both of them are still witnesses.
"Still a witness," Haris told reporters, Tuesday, January 18.
In addition, during the examination of the two, which lasted for about 5 hours, investigators asked at least 37 questions. Questions about YouTube accounts to research data related to alleged business in Papua involving Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.
"Only about 17 questions. Fatia 20. A total of 37," said Haris.
"A lot about my YouTube account, then also about conflict of interest material and from research questions," he continued.
With the completion of this examination, Haris said, his party will submit evidence to investigators related to the case. However, it is unclear when the evidence will be presented.
"Not yet, but we conveyed earlier that we presented some evidence as well as a number of witnesses as well as expert recommendations," said Haris.
Meanwhile, Fatia and Haris are reported cases of alleged defamation. This case was reported by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.
In fact, the current status of the alleged defamation case has been upgraded to the investigation stage. However, both of them are still witnesses.
