Chronology Of Song Ji-ah "Single's Inferno" Caught Using Fake Goods Until She Apologized

JAKARTA - Song Ji-ah, a contestant on the reality matchmaking show that aired on Netflix, "Single's Inferno", apologized after sparking controversy for using fake goods on the show.

According to South Korean law, it is illegal to sell and import counterfeit goods. Likewise with having goods for the purpose of duplicating. However, a person who does not know if the goods he buys are counterfeit are not considered unlawful.

Song Ji-ah was previously criticized by netizens because some of the clothes and jewelry she wore on the show "Single's Inferno" and her YouTube videos were fakes that resembled expensive brands including Chanel and Dior.

Before joining "Single's Inferno", Song Ji-ah created a YouTube channel in 2019 and often uploaded beauty content. She introduces and reviews the beauty products she buys.

The controversy immediately disappointed many fans, both those who watched the reality show and those who followed its content on YouTube. Some people say that Song Ji-ah's actions are a shame because she has faked her lifestyle.

After the netizen's god was uploaded on a portal in South Korea, he was hard to avoid. Especially when equated with Lisa Blackpink's style. Finally, Song Ji-ah apologized by uploading her handwriting on her Instagram.

"I want to apologize to the brand for this problem. I extend my sincere apologies to my fans and followers. As a person who dreams of launching his own brand, I will reflect on this," Song Ji-ah was quoted as saying by the Korea Herald.

The woman, known as a YouTuber by the name of FreeZia, recently finished filming for the talk show "Knowing Bros" on JTBC and the variety show "Omniscient Interfering View" MBC. Song Ji-ah's name became famous after playing in "Single's Inferno".
