Bogor Mayor Seals Zentrum With Many Violations From Alcohol To Crowd Visitors

BOGOR - Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto sealed the Zentrum nightclub (THM) on Jalan Pajajaran, Baranangsiang Village, East Bogor District, for violating four regional regulations at once.

"Yes, this place has no use, it only causes trouble, commotion, drunken people, the tax is not much, so what, there is no benefit for the city of Bogor," said Bima Arya in Bogor City, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, January 18.

Bima Arya sealed the THM on Monday, January 17 evening by observing firsthand a number of violations that occurred at the location, including people who were heavily intoxicated, alcoholic beverages above five percent were freely displayed at the service desk.

In addition, there were reports of a commotion between visitors that occurred on Friday, January 14 in the early hours of the morning which resulted in reporting to the police.

Bima Arya confirmed that there were three violations that caused the sealing. First, the violation of security and public order because there was a riot case on Friday, January 14th.

The two violations did not have a permit to sell alcoholic beverages above five percent to a level of 40 percent, and the third violated the operating hours at 2.00 WIB in the morning.

The Mayor of Bogor also directly attached the seal that reads the four basic regulations of the City of Bogor, namely Perda number 8 of 2006 concerning public order

Perda number 14 of 2008 concerning tower operations, regional regulation number 5 of 2009 concerning licensing and registration in the field of industry and trade, regional regulation number 2 of 2019 concerning building construction and building permits.

At the location, he said, Bima faced a person who appeared drunk and couldn't stand up during the impromptu inspection. He also found a number of alcoholic beverages above five percent on the Zentrum service desk.

"If you want to operate, please adjust to the rules. It doesn't violate security and order, nor does it violate alcoholic beverages," said Bima.

Meanwhile, Head of Criminal Investigation at the Bogor City Police, Kompol Dhoni Erwanto, confirmed that there was a case of beating DPA that was reported by a person with the initials F on Sunday, January 10.

The incident against DPA took place on Friday, January 14 at 2:45 WIB due to a dispute that caused a commotion between visitors. DPA suffered injuries to the temples and back of the head.

"We are still in the process of reporting from F and we will first meet the witnesses brought by the reporter," said Dhoni.
