Ripple And XRP Army Mentioned Give The Hardest Match To SEC
JAKARTA – In the midst of Ripple's heated feud with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), one of the leading XRP advocates @XRPcryptowolf said that Ripple and the entire XRP Army "have put up the toughest fight against the SEC in their entire career."
The XRP supporter expressed his opinion through a Twitter post. XRPcryptowolf cites a tweet from the head of policy at the US Blockchain Association, Jack Chervinsky which states that “Ripple is fighting the SEC harder than Elon Musk.”
Reporting from U.Today, nearly 20 hours earlier, Chervinsky pointed out that despite what the crypto community might think of Ripple as a company and XRP as a cryptocurrency, they can acknowledge two main things: Ripple has fought the SEC in court, showing no mercy. to the securities regulator (SEC).
Earlier, Judge Sarah Netburn ordered the SEC to submit an email with a draft speech from the former SEC chief, William Hinman, regarding whether or not he qualifies Ethereum as a security.
In a speech given in 2018, Hinman stated that Ethereum is not security at all. The SEC is expected to bring the letter along with records from meetings of the SEC and third parties that do not belong to the agency.
This is part of Ripple's lawyers' efforts to investigate why the SEC does not consider Bitcoin and Ethereum to be excluding securities and insist that XRP is different from the two. Proponents of XRP see this as a big win for Ripple over the SEC in a court battle that has been going on for a year.
