JAKARTA - The writer Remy Sylado feels grateful after the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will provide assistance for the cost of treatment at the hospital. After being visited by the Governor of DKI Anies Baswedan, Remy received treatment at a raft house.

It is known that Remy Sylado's family admitted that they did not have the money for treatment, let alone just going to the hospital. Therefore, they are grateful for the assistance provided by the government.

"I was told earlier too. We go to the first hospital. We thank you very much. Thank you," said Emmy, Remy Sylado's wife, according to FramerisTV.

Remy Sylado's condition had become a conversation on social media when the writer was seen lying on the bed. He also underwent treatment at home with makeshift medicine.

"I've never been to the hospital because there was no (money) so I just used herbal medicine. It's been a year that I haven't been to the hospital for control, "explained Emmy.

But now Remy Sylado is receiving assistance for treatment at the hospital, to be precise at the Tarakan Regional General Hospital. It is known that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also bears all costs.

Remy Sylado had time to undergo treatment at the hospital in 2020 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, doctors advised him to be treated at home. Now he can undergo surgery and treatment thanks to the assistance of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
