Grobogan Police Investigate Death Of Elementary School Student Suspected Of Victims Of Persecution

SEMARANG - Grobogan Police, Central Java, investigated the case of the death of an elementary school student with the initials SM who was allegedly beaten to death by her friends.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Grobogan Police AKP Andryansyah Rithas Hasibuan said the death of the 12-year-old boy had been reported by his parents on December 27, 2021.

According to him, the follow-up to the investigation of the case has been carried out by examining witnesses.

In addition, he said, investigators also carried out the dismantling of the victim's grave for autopsy purposes.

"To prove this, an investigation was carried out, including autopsies on the bodies of victims who had been buried," he said, quoted by Antara, Monday, January 17.

The autopsy on the bodies of the daughters of the Pujiyanto and Sri Martini pair was carried out by the Health Medicine Division of the Central Java Police, which was led directly by the Head of the Health Department, Kombes Kombes Sumy Hastry.

According to Sumy, an autopsy on the body which had been buried for about 24 days had been carried out.

According to him, to determine the cause of SM's death, further investigations must still be carried out.

"There were nine body tissue samples taken to determine the cause of death," he said.

SM reportedly died on December 27, 2021 after complaining of pain after attending a friend's birthday party.

Initial examination of SM at the hospital found bruises on his body.
