Ahead Of The Fight Against Borneo FC, Persib Prepares A New Formation To Make A Difference
JAKARTA - Ahead of the away match against Borneo FC in week 20 of Liga 1 at Ngurah Rai Stadium, Denpasar, Tuesday, Persib Bandung will prepare a new formation to look different and gain victory.
In the match against Bali United the previous week, Persib bowed 0-1. After the defeat, coach Robert Rene Alberts immediately galvanize his foster children to the fullest.
"Yes, today (Sunday) we have started to prepare for the next match to be faced," said Robert Rene Alberts, quoted from Persib's official website.
The coach revealed that the training had actually been carried out the day after the match against Bali United. Given the lack of rest time, recovery exercises are carried out with an individual program.
"Yesterday we did recovery, but with an individual program because they (players) slept late after the game. So just today we trained together," he said.
Rene Alberts also said that Persib's time lag between the match against Bali United and Borneo FC was very short. Therefore, the training program given to players is different from usual.
"We also have to monitor how the formation can be played later because Marc and Ardi are back, but Jupe is not because he is still injured."
"So we are monitoring how the formation is and which ones will be changed," he said.
Rene Alberts said the players were disappointed with the defeat to Bali United. Therefore, the players want to get back up when facing Borneo FC.
"We know we let this team lose, we didn't do what we had to and we take responsibility for the defeat."
"We want to show that against Borneo the game will be different," he concluded.
