Supporting Tax Amnesty Volume II, BRI Socializes PPS To Priority Customers
JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. (BRI) reportedly supports the government's move to hold the Voluntary Forgiveness Program (PPS) by providing socialization to customers.
BRI's Director of Consumer Business, Handayani, said that BRI's proactive attitude was realized by providing education to the public, especially priority customers. In addition, he also said that this effort was a form of the company's concern for the state revenue sector in the volume II tax amnesty program.
"Through this socialization, BRI also supports the government in restoring the country's economy and increasing state income. In addition, this effort will also increase public compliance in paying taxes in Indonesia," he said in a press statement, Monday, January 17.
As is known, PPS is an initiation program from the Director General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) which provides an opportunity for the public or taxpayers (WP), to report assets or assets that have not been reported. This program itself lasts for 6 months with a maximum deadline of June 30, 2022.
“BRI always continues to maintain its integrity and commitment as a bank that has sincere service. So far, BRI has provided many conveniences and unlimited services in the form of international scale privileges to special and selected individuals of BRI customers," continued Handayani.
It was stated that BRI's priority customers also received priority in management according to their profile, as well as professional assistance and special fleets that were certified and experienced.
"BRI will continue to show evidence of its commitment as an agent of development in supporting government policies," concluded Handayani.
