The Involvement Of Civilians In The Destruction Of The Ciracas Police Station Has Not Been Found
JAKARTA - Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said that the involvement of individual TNI members in the destruction of the Ciracas Police, East Jakarta was handled by the Military Police of the Jaya Military Command (Pomdam Jaya).
Meanwhile, the police, said Yusri, would take care of any civilians involved in the vandalism.
"We have the Integrated Team investigate this case. The one who deals with the TNI, is in the TNI's domain. Meanwhile we are investigating whether there are other people who are not TNI," Yusri told reporters on Sunday, August 30.
However, until now there has been no indication of civilian involvement in the attack. Likewise, from the results of CCTV examinations, there was also no evidence of involvement of civilians.
"So far it is still in the process of investigating," said Yusri.
Previously, the action of vandalizing the Ciracas Police, East Jakarta was said to have been triggered by Prada MI's confession. He admitted to his colleagues that he had been beaten by a number of people. The news was spread through the Whatsapp short message application group.
In fact, based on preliminary evidence, Prada MI had a single accident. Not beaten up by a number of people as told to his friends.
As for the destruction of the Ciracas Police, East Jakarta, occurred on Saturday, August 29, in the early hours of the morning. The damage was said to have been carried out by hundreds of unknown people.
The action caused the Police building and several facilities to be damaged. Three members were injured.
