The Attack On The Ciracas Police Station Began With The Provocation Of TNI Personnel Who Claimed To Have Been Attacked
JAKARTA - The attack on the Ciracas Police Station and the destruction of a number of public facilities in East Jakarta were triggered by the provocation of members of the TNI to fellow classmates. This person spread the fake news that he was beaten up.
"From the Prada MI cell phone, it was found that the person concerned informed the class of 2017 that they were attacked, a senior called them saying they had been attacked," said Pangdam Jaya Maj. Gen. TNI Dudung Abdurachman at a press conference at the Puspen TNI Journalist Center, TNI Headquarters Cilangkap, quoted by Antara, Saturday, August 29.
However, the news of this assault is certainly a lie. The news from a member of the Army Legal Directorate was matched with the statements of nine civilian witnesses.
Dudung said, Prada MI actually had a single accident while riding a motorcycle on Jalan Kelapa Dua Wetan, Ciracas, East Jakarta. The exact location is near the Arundina T-junction.
In addition to being strengthened by witness statements at the scene of the crime (TKP), the single accident was also proven by recorded closed circuit television (CCTV) images from one of the shops around the scene.
"On the 37th minute broadcast, MI fell around the corner, there was no hitting from behind, front or beatings," he said.
When MI contacted his colleagues, continued Dudung, he also conveyed dirty sentences which were considered to tarnish the image of the TNI.
"The information on the social media concerned was attacked and there were several sentences that aroused emotions so that with an excessive and uncontrolled spirit of violence, they did damage," he said.
Dudung added that as many as six of the approximately 100 people involved in the destruction of the Ciracas Police Headquarters and public facilities in East Jakarta underwent intensive investigation by the Jayakarta Military Military Police.
"I received orders from the TNI Commander so that the perpetrators will be dealt with firmly in accordance with the laws in force in the TNI," he said.
From the results of an interim investigation, it has not been confirmed that civilians were involved in this anarchistic action.
So far, six out of a total of about 100 people suspected of involvement in the destruction of the Ciracas Police Headquarters are currently undergoing questioning by the Jayakarta Military Police.
Currently, Prada MI is still under the care of the medical team even though the investigation process is still being carried out by Pomdam Jaya.
"Most likely from the Dandim report to me there were around 100 people who carried out the action. If six is not possible, we are tracking this," said Dudung.
