Madura United Striker Beto Goncalves Snatched In Bali, Police Ask To Report
BADUNG - Alberto Goncalves, also known as Beto Goncalves, was the victim of a mugging while in Kuta, Badung, Bali. The information of this incident was uploaded by the wife of the Madura Uniteed striker from his wife's upload, Roesmalia Dewi, through her Instagram account.
"Guys, be careful who rides motorbikes at night, 30 minutes ago my husband had to steal his gold necklace in the Basangkasa Highway area. Praise God it's okay," he wrote via the @dewcosta Instagram account.
His wife also told about Beto's beginning when his necklace was grabbed. "My husband thought the motorbike that approached him was his friend because the thief grabbed my husband's chest and then pulled the necklace until his shirt tore," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Kuta Police, Kompol Orpa Takalapeta, when confirmed, said that his party had not yet received a report from the victim.
"There is no report yet. I checked with the Criminal Investigation Unit earlier and tried to check with the dumas (community complaints) but there is no report," said Orpa Police Commissioner when contacted, Monday, January 17.
He asked the victim to report it to the Kuta Police Headquarters, Bali, if it is true that the incident happened.
"Just make a report first, we don't know the truth. If there is a report, someone is responsible for the report," said the Orpa Commissioner
"For example, if he comes to make a report, someone must be responsible and the report is real and true, not fake.
If he comes, our report is okay. We are waiting for the victim to report on that basis, we can carry out an investigation," he said.
