Police Quick Actions Hunting Attackers Of Indonesian Army Members Who Killed In Pluit Reservoir, North Jakarta
JAKARTA - The police are moving quickly in investigating the case of beating members of the Indonesian Army. In this case, the soldier with the initials S (23) died.
The police act quickly in this case by arresting the alleged perpetrator. Although, the police are still developing to apprehend other perpetrators.
So far, it is not clear and certain the origin and reason for this beating took place. However, based on information, the suspect's actions began while looking for someone in the Pluit Reservoir area, North Jakarta, Sunday, January 16 at around 03.00 WIB.
Until finally, S and his friend, SM, became victims of the group beating. Then there was a stabbing action that caused S to die.
Meanwhile, SM was helped. Currently, he is undergoing treatment at Atmajaya Hospital, Jakarta.
The police immediately stepped in to deal with the case. The Head of Penjaringan Police, AKBP Febri Isman Jaya, said that his party had conducted a series of investigations.
One of them is checking the CCTV installed in the vicinity of the incident. This examination is to identify the perpetrator.
"The CCTV has been (investigated, ed) but the license plate (vehicle, ed) is not visible," said Febri, Sunday, January 16.
So, another attempt was made. For example, examining witnesses for clues and other evidence
"We have examined several witnesses related to last night's incident, other perpetrators are still being chased," he said.
However, not long after, the efforts made paid off. One member of the group suspected of stabbing the victim with a sharp weapon has been arrested.
"Alhamdulillah, last night we secured (arrested, ed) one perpetrator," said Febri.
But have not disclosed in detail the initials and identity of the perpetrators. The reason is, so as not to interfere with the ongoing investigation process.
