'It's Okay, Maybe It's My Fault', Ganjar's Answer For The Assistance Returned By PDIP Cadres

JAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo spoke about the assistance to renovate the house belonging to PDIP Temanggung cadre, Fajar Nugroho. He didn't mind if his good intentions were rejected by Fajar.

Ganjar explained his intention to renovate Fajar's house as a form of appreciation. He assessed that Fajar was one of the PDIP cadres fighting for the victory of the Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin pair in the 2019 presidential election.

Ganjar told that Fajar and his friends were abused by mass organizations from the opposing camp during the 2019 presidential election campaign. After the incident, they went to Ganjar Pranowo's residence at the official residence of the Central Java governor, Puri Gedeh, Semarang City.

"I know Mas Fajar is Jokowi's follower. So in the past, Mas Fajar came to my house with eight of his friends. And at that time, in order to maintain the success of Jokowi-Maruf, Fajar and his friends were willing to be beaten," said Ganjar.

Time passed, Ganjar also received news that Fajar was not living well enough. His fate is different from his friends.

Ganjar received news that Fajar was working in a corn chip factory. In addition, Fajar's house was informed that it was unfit for habitation, had damaged wooden walls, and had been repeatedly submitted to the government for development but was always rejected because it stood on land belonging to the village treasury.

Receiving this information, Ganjar immediately visited Fajar in Temanggung.

"Incidentally, that Sunday there was a visit to Magelang, so I could stop by for a while to Temanggung," said Ganjar.

With a tit for tat, Fajar who was at home greeted Ganjar on the road in front of his house. There is no rejection response.

With a happy face, Fajar said he was ready to take care of all the administration when Ganjar said he would help renovate his house.

"I came to Mas Fajar's house to help. At that time, I was fine and well received. But later he was not pleased. Yes, if Mas Fajar refuses, it's okay, maybe I am wrong," said Ganjar.

Ganjar admitted that this was the first time his assistance had been refused. He admitted that he had been helping fellow cadres for a long time, even when he was still a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives.

"Actually since the first, we have been running in the seventh electoral district. When we made Bung Karno month, we made it in Grobogan," said Ganjar.
