Raisa Singing Titi DJ's Song Again, The Language Of The Heart

JAKARTA - One of Titi DJ's hit songs has been overhauled. The language of Kalbu, brought back by Raisa through the cool hands of composer Andi Rianto.

The idea to re-sing the Kalbu language came from the positive response from the audience of the Magenta Orchestra XV concert, led by Andi Rianto, last year.

Kalbu language - the work of Titi DJ, Andi Rianto, and Dorie Kalmas - this time is packaged in an orchestral bandage so that it feels more magnificent. A novelty for soloists who have never had a full orchestral song.

Raisa is usually familiar with pop music arrangements with a full band format filled with guitar, keyboard, drums, and bass instruments as the basic foundation of her music.

"The opportunity to sing with a full orchestra is not that often, there will never be a mistake with an orchestra," said Raisa in her official statement.

"I hope to bring this song to younger listeners," he continued.

Raisa said she wanted to create her own version of the Heart Language that music lovers hope to enjoy.

For Andi Rianto, Bahasa Kalbu is a special song by his first work in the Indonesian music industry which immediately reaps success.

"This is the first song, suddenly 'exploded', so the soundtrack of the soap opera (Cinta). 'Oh Allah, enter my TV song'," Andi recalled his feelings at that time.

In the past, a composer who had won 5 AMI Awards in 1999 performed it in a minimalist manner only with a keyboard accompaniment. 21 years later, this song was brought back to life with Raisa with a richer arrangement. This desire has appeared for many years.

"I have thought from 2016 that I want to remake the language of the Heart and Raisa who sang it," said Andi.

"Raisa managed to make this song her own song," he praised.

Raisa first sang the Kalbu language with Andi Rianto at the Magenta Orchestra's 15th anniversary event.

"Seeing the good response from the audience who saw Raisa's performance with the Magenta Orchestra, we JUNI Records thought to record this song. This Kalbu language song has its own magnet which always gives goosebumps in a good way, ”said Adryanto Pratono, CEO of JUNI Records.

This song was supposed to be released last April, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The shooting of the black and white video clip took place just a few days before the large-scale zoning in Jakarta.
