Excited Because Of Raising Billions From Selling NFT On OpenSea, Ghozali Everyday Coded By DGT To Pay Taxes: Off Course I Will Pay

JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of the Ministry of Finance continues to carry out its duties to collect taxes on citizens. Most recently, Sri Mulyani's ranks gave a code to Ghozali, a young man who went viral because he earned billions from selling photos on OpenSea.

“Congratulations, Ghozali! Here is a link where you can register your TIN: http://pajak.go.id/id," said the DGT through the official Twitter account @DitjenPajakRI on Friday, January 14.

In order to make it easier for Ghozali, the Directorate General of Taxes has also attached a link related to the tax payment procedure, namely how to obtain the registration requirements for a taxpayer's identification number.

DGT also does not hesitate to answer Ghazali's questions if he encounters obstacles in fulfilling his obligations to the country.

“If you need help, kindly ask @kring_pajak. We wish you the best of luck in the future," said the Directorate General of Taxes while putting a smile on his face.

Just so you know, this tweet is a response to Ghozali's status on Twitter which describes his experiences in the last five years and his plans for the future.

"My goal of taking pictures of myself for 5 years is just for this video, and in the future for this year hopefully I will graduate from college and be able to take my graduation photo, it will be a cool trip," he said on Wednesday, January 12.

Then, after realizing that he was mentioned by a tax official, Ghozali committed to fulfilling the payment.

"Of course I will pay for it because I am a good Indonesian citizen," he said.

As previously known, Ghozali had created a stir domestically because he was believed to have succeeded in earning billions of rupiah from selling his selfies through his OpenSea account. He has been doing this for the last five years.

Meanwhile, the photo was sold to the general public around the world for a value of Rp. 6 million to Rp. 30 million.
