Bareskrim Polri Schedule Examination Of All Suspects Red Notice Djoko Tjandra
JAKARTA - Bareksrim Polri investigators have scheduled examinations of all suspects in the alleged bribery case for the removal of red notice Djoko Tjandra, Friday, August 28. They will be examined as witnesses for other suspects.
As for this case, Bareskrim Polri has named four people as suspects. They are, Djoko Tjandra, Tommy Sumardi, Inspector General Napoleon, and Brigadier General Prasetyo
"All the suspects in the case of red notice Joko S Tjandra, are planning to be investigated today by the investigators at 10.00 WIB," said Karo Penmas of the National Police's Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono, Friday, August 28.
Awi said that this examination was to complete the investigation files of the suspects. "Examination of all suspects to serve as witnesses against other suspects," said Awi.
However, Awi could not yet specify what the four suspects would extract. "Of course, the results will be updated later. Thank you," said Awi.
In this case, Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte and Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo were named as suspects because they were suspected of being the recipients of bribes for the removal of red notice Djoko Tjandra.
They are charged with Article 5 Paragraph 2, Article 11 and Article 12 letters a and b of Law Number 20 of 2020 concerning Corruption (Tipikor) in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code.
Meanwhile, Tommy Sumardi and Djoko Tjandra were named as suspects on suspicion of giving bribes. They are charged with Article 5 Paragraph 1, Article 13 of Law 20/2020 concerning Corruption (Tipikor) in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code.
In the bribery case, investigators confiscated US $ 20 thousand, cellphones, including CCTV as evidence.
