Not Only The Regent, ASN In North Penajam Paser Also Entangled By KPK During OTT

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that the Regent of North Penajam Paser Abdul Gafur Mas'ud was caught in a hand arrest operation (OTT) in Jakarta along with six other people on Wednesday, January 12 yesterday.

Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, said that during the arrest, the anti-corruption commission team also arrested the state civil apparatus (ASN) of the North Penajam Paser Regency Government and the private sector.

"KPK arrested seven people in Jakarta, including the Regent of East Kalimantan PPU and several ASN members of the PPU Regency Government and other private parties," said Ali to reporters, Thursday, January 13.

The arrest of this ASN, continued Ali, was also carried out by the KPK in East Kalimantan. "So far, the information we have received is four people, consisting of ASN PPU Regency Government and private parties," he said.

Furthermore, those arrested in Kalimantan will undergo further examination at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

Not only arresting ASN, the KPK also found evidence in the form of money. Ali said the money was in rupiah denominations but the amount had not been detailed because it was still in the process of being counted.

"In this arrest activity, evidence is also found, including money in rupiah denominations, the amount of which will be re-calculated and confirmed to the parties examined," he concluded.
