JAKARTA - The figure of Nadhlatul Ulama (NU) in Pasuruan, East Java, Habib Abubakar Assegaf, has spoken out with a controversial statement issued by Zein Assegaf or familiarly called Habib Kribo.

Habib Kribo, through video clips spread on social media, said that the Arabs have no honor without the Kaaba. Arabs also did not give birth to intellectuals.

"Arabs without the Kaaba have no honor, what is Arab culture? Nothing," said Habib Kribo in a viral video clip. Nothing," he said again.

Disgusted by Habib Kribo's statement, Habib Abubakar also called him racist. Surprisingly, the figure of Habib Kribo was actually given a stage to deliver his controversial statement.

"The longer Zen Kribo has been silent, the more brutal it is, starting to talk about haphazard religion, racist statements, especially to the Arabs, but there are still those who deliberately give the stage. Habib Abubakar firmly asked the authorities, Mebes Polri to intervene to take action against Habib Kribo who spoke carelessly accusing the Arabs.
