FUIB Sulsel Threatens To Demo The Case Of Ferdinand Hutahaean, Denny Siregar Warns Police: Don't Be Pressured!

JAKARTA - Social media activist Denny Siregar responded to the discourse thrown by the South Sulawesi United Islamic Community Forum (FUIB Sulsel)

FUIB has threatened to hold a massive demonstration if former Democrat Party politician Ferdinand Hutahaean is not properly punished.

According to Denny, demonstrations are the only weapon because they are trying to suppress the authorities with the power of the masses.

"Their weapons are indeed demonstrations, mass pressure. With mass pressure, they want to suppress government laws and policies," Denny quipped as quoted on his Twitter account, @Dennysiregar7, Monday, January 10 night.

"The apparatus and the government should never be pressured like this," said Denny while responding to the news about the threat of the demonstration.

The general chairman of the South Sulawesi FUIB, Ustaz Muchtar Daeng Lau, said that his party was still monitoring this case. If the performance of the apparatus seems slow, then it threatens to hold a large demonstration.

For information, Ferdinand Hutahaean was reported on suspicion of spreading hoaxes or blasphemy to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. The report follows his tweet on his Twitter account @FerdinandHaean3 about 'Your God is Weak'.

Ferdinand is suspected of violating Article 45 a paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph 2, Law 11 of 2008 concerning ITE, and Article 14 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code.

Today, Ferdinand came to fulfill the summons of the police investigators. Until this news was compiled, Ferdinand was still undergoing examination.
