Im Siwan And Seolhyun AOA Get Summer Strike Drama Offer
JAKARTA - Im Siwan and Seolhyun received an offer to star in the latest Korean drama, Summer Strike.
Monday, January 10, both agencies responded to this news. PLUM A&C as Im Siwan's agency confirmed that the actor was reviewing the drama. Likewise with FNC Entertainment as Seolhyun's agency.
"(Summer Strike) is one of the projects that was offered to him, and he is currently reviewing the offer," FNC Entertainment said.
Summer Strike is a drama adapted from a webtoon entitled I Don't Feel Like Doing Anything. This drama tells the story of people who choose a minimalist life and move to a small town.
If accepted, Im Siwan will play Ahn Dae Bum, a man who is good at math. He hopes to get into Seoul National University. However, when he succeeded, he instead worked as a librarian at Angok.
Seolhyun accepted the offer as Lee Yeo Reum, a new employee who became a permanent employee after working at a company for five years. But he left and moved to Angok and lived in a small room.
Im Siwan and Seolhyun are fellow K-pop idols of the second generation. Siwan, who used to be active as a member of ZE:A, is now in the acting world. Meanwhile, Seolhyun is still promoting with the group AOA.
Currently, Im Siwan is busy with drama Tracer while Seolhyun has just confirmed the drama Murderer's Shopping List.
Summer Strike is directed by Lee Yoon Jung, who worked on Coffee Prince and Cheese in the Trap.
