Looking For A Replacement For Anies Baswedan, DKI Golkar Introduces Airin Rachmi Diany
JAKARTA - The increasingly warm dynamics of Anies Baswedan's replacement in Jakarta has invited comments from the Golkar Legislator and chairman of the Golkar DPP, Lamhot Sinaga. Although Golkar Internal Affairs currently has no discussion about the figures that will be carried by Golkar in the Jakarta elections, several internal Golkar figures have raised several people, including Airin Rachmi Diany, former 2nd term South Tangerang Mayor and Zaki Iskandar Tangerang Regent.
"Both of them are Golkar's best cadres and have great potential to lead Jakarta," Lamhot told reporters in Jakarta, Sunday, January 9.
In particular, Lamhot highlighted the Chair of the Women's Unity of the Golkar Party (KPPG) Airin, one of the Golkar Heroes with a myriad of achievements and full of experience when she led the South Tangerang Golkar Party from the brunt of political storms.
"Airin is quite capable, has experience in government and has succeeded in building the city of South Tangerang with various awards for the achievements made during his two terms in office," said Lamhot.
Jakarta needs a person who is accepted by all circles, cool but able to build Jakarta and continue the long-term development plan for Jakarta that has been made by his predecessors.
Lamhot's positive assessment of Airin was given based on the performance indicators of Airin Rachmi Diany in the Golkar party and in the government. Airin is needed by Jakarta for the sake of the nation's greater interest and strengthening the political system and strengthening democracy.
Airin represents the face of Golkar which is pro-people and able to support the Vision of the Welfare State 2045 proclaimed by the general chairman of Golkar Airlangga Hartarto, where Golkar believes that Indonesia will become a developed country and be on par with other major economies in the world.
Lamhot believes that, apart from having a beautiful face with qualified experience, the Chair of the KPPG is considered capable of bringing DKI Jakarta to transform from the state capital into a modern business city according to the plan to move the state capital.
"I only voiced my support for Airin because she has a good and quality work record. It is also a form of strengthening for all cadres, sympathizers and administrators of the Golkar party towards the DKI gubernatorial election later," continued the Deputy General Chairperson of Kosgoro 1957.
"And if there is a plan to pair Airin with another candidate, then it is appropriate for Airin Rachmi Diany to become DKI-1 and of course Golkar will open the door for a coalition with the best cadres of other parties," Lamhot concluded regarding the figure from Golkar who would be proposed to replace Anies Baswedan.
