PDIP Secretary General Sindir Anies Baswedan Doesn't Maintain The Clean Environment Tradition Left By Jokowi-Ahok

JAKARTA - On a number of occasions during Party activities, the Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Hasto Keistiyanto did not hesitate to take part in sweeping. This includes cleaning and planting trees in the East Flood Canal (BKT), East Jakarta, Sunday, January 9.

Hasto invited colleagues such as Ahmad Basarah, Dolfie, Agustina Wilujeng to join in the sweeping. Hasto even invited them to compete to clean up the trash and leaves.

It turned out that Hasto did not hesitate to do it because he had a habit since childhood to sweep and clean. Even from the sweeping activities, many values are contained. From ethics to love for the environment.

“From a young age I was taught to sweep, so if I don't, it means that my parents will sweep. I would be ashamed if that happened. So until high school I was still sweeping the yard and house. I'm especially the one on the terrace. My sister is mostly inside the house," said Hasto in a written statement received in Jakarta, Sunday, January 9.

By sweeping, Hasto assesses that we are taught to be disciplined and see details.

"We learn the details, which parts we need to pay attention to. Sweeping has a pattern, not just sweeping. Sweeping is like making batik on the ground," added Hasto

Hasto Kristiyanto and his parents live on Jalan Kaliurang Km 10.9, Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta And what is clear, by sweeping, Hasto from the start has learned the importance of cleanliness and protecting the natural environment.

When he finished sweeping, Hasto looked around the BKT park. It looks like a pond that is there unattended. Hasto said he was sad. This is because the work to maintain a beautiful environment that was carried out in the era of the Jakarta administration since Jokowi, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, and Djarot Saiful Hidayat, was not continued by the Anies Baswedan era government.

Hasto immediately summoned the PDIP cadres sitting in the legislature, namely Aria Bima, Dolfie, and the Secretary of the PDIP Faction at the Jakarta DPRD Dwi Rio Sambodo. Hasto asked for synergy so that the Ujung Menteng park was beautiful and a comfortable place for families to play.

"This is unmanageable. Maybe this is the effect because the blusukan tradition has faded from Jakarta. We will revive it and we will prove it by reforesting the Ujung Menteng park," said Hasto.
