The Chairperson Of The DKI DPRD Asks Anies To Announce Positive COVID-19 Fruits To Be Anticipated

JAKARTA - Jakarta DPRD Chairman Prasetio Edi Marsudi asked the Governor of DKI Jakarta to announce that any DKI Jakarta Provincial Government official has been confirmed positive for COVID-19. The announcement is considered important as a measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

This suggestion arose because a number of leaders of DKI Regional Work Units (SKPD) were declared exposed to COVID-19. In fact, they routinely hold joint leadership meetings with DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and DKI Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria.

"I ask the Governor to talk about the COVID-19 issue, don't be ashamed. This is not a disgrace. Just explain," Prasetio told reporters, Wednesday, August 26.

Prasetio revealed that currently six DKI officials have been confirmed positive for COVID-19. However, Prasetio did not mention all the names of Anies's men who were infected with the corona virus.

"The positive thing is the Head of the City Parks and Forests (Suzi Marsitawati), the Head of the Administration Bureau (Premi Lasari), the Head of the Bureau of Mental and Spiritual Education (Hendra Hidayat), among them," said Prasetio.

Prasetio said that if Anies announces a positive case within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, this can be an anticipation for all parties who have had contact with Anies's subordinates who were confirmed COVID-19.

"Like me, yesterday the DPRD took the step of extending the office closure because there were several board members from the PAN, PKS, and Nasdem factions who were positive. Once again, the Governor should not be ashamed, so that COVID-19 does not spread to other places," said Prasetio.

It was reported earlier that on Monday, August 24, the Head of the City Park and Forest Service, Suzi Marsitawati, was declared exposed to COVID-19. Meanwhile, on August 19, Suzi attended a leadership meeting at the DKI City Hall with Anies.

Then, on Tuesday, August 18, Director of Perumda Pasar Jaya Arief Nasruddin was also infected with COVID-19.

Even so, the Head of the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) emphasized that the implementation of the leadership meeting implemented the COVID-19 prevention protocol.

Rapim participants are also required to use a mask during the meeting, seating arrangements are at least 1 meter apart and hand sanitizers are prepared outside the neat room. In addition, officials have carried out the COVID-19 test independently, so that those present are confirmed to be in good health.
