New Year's Eve, KRL Operates Until 3 AM

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (PT KCI) as the operator of the Commuter Line electric train (KRL) will increase operating hours until 03.00 WIB on January 1, 2020. On the eve of the new year 2020, PT KCI added as many as 28 additional KRL trips specifically for the replacement celebration years, so the departure between additional KRL on New Year's Eve is approximately 60 minutes.

"Nine additional KRL trips will serve the Bogor / Depok-Kampung Bandan / Jakarta City pp, seven additional KRL trips will serve the Cikarang / Bekasi-Jakarta City pp, four additional KRL trips will serve the Rangkasbitung / Maja / Parungpanjang-Tanah Abang relationship, pp. , two additional KRL trips will serve the Tangerang-Duri pp connection, and six additional KRL trips will serve the Tanjungpriok - Jakarta city pp relationship, "said PT KCI Vice President Corporate Communications Anne Purba in a press release, Saturday, December 28.

The additional KRL trips will take effect from 22.27 WIB to 03.00 WIB. KCI appealed to people who will use KRL to adjust the time to go to the station before the KRL operational time ends.

In addition to adding KRL trips, PT KCI will also double service, cleaning, security officers and add up to 26 portable counters scattered in Bogor Station, Jakarta Kota Station, Juanda Station, Pasar Minggu Station, Manggarai Station, Lenteng Agung Station, Sudimara Station, Citayam Station, and Rangkasbitung Station.

PT KCI has also prepared various additional facilities for service users, including the installation of queuing tents and waiting rooms at seven stations including Bogor Station, Citayam Station, Tambun Station, Ancol Station, Depok Baru Station, Bekasi Station, and Rangkasbitung Station.

In addition, there are also six portable toilets at Lenteng Agung Station, Manggarai Station, Sudirman Station, Citayam Station, Rawabuntu Station, and Depok Station.

For breastfeeding mothers who bring their children, there is also a lactation room at Sudirman Station, Tanah Abang Station, Palmerah Station, Kebayoran Station, Parung Panjang Station, Cisauk Station, Maja Station, Citeras Station, Jakarta Kota Station, Tangerang Station, Duri Station, Bogor Station, Bojong Gede Station, Citayam Station, Depok Station, Depok Baru Station, Tebet Station, Manggarai Station, and Batu Ceper Station.

"For the sake of safety and mutual comfort, PT KCI appealed to service users to follow the rules and regulations that apply in stations and KRL, including not carrying firecrackers, fireworks, and other flammable objects," said Anne.

He said, for users who were caught carrying these objects in the KRL, the officers would be confiscated. If the user is not available, he will be dropped off at the nearest station.

Users are also advised not to spend the night at the station. After 03.00 WIB, all station locations will be sterile again for the purposes of cleaning and maintaining station facilities so that they can return to serving users the next day.
