Checking TPS, Gianyar Regent Falls From Motor Trail
GIANYAR - The Regent of Gianyar Gianyar I Made Agus Mahayastra and his wife had a single accident while riding a dirt bike.
This is known from the upload on Agus Mahayastra's Facebook account. At that time, he visited the TPS3R for Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle (TPS3R) Waste Management in a number of sub-districts in Gianyar Regency, Bali.
In the video, the Regent of Mahayastra loses control and then falls down with his wife from the KLX motorbike they are riding while visiting the TPS3R. The video also went viral on social media.
The Regional Secretary of Gianyar Regency, I Made Gede Wisnu Wijaya, confirmed the incident. He confirmed that Regent Agus had no serious injuries.
"It's okay (just) slipping in the ditch. There is no problem, there are no abrasions," said Vishnu when contacted, Friday, January 7.
Wisnu explained, the accident occurred when the Regent of Gianyar and his entourage passed a path in a rice field area. The route that the group took when visiting TPS3R started from Gianyar District, namely Tampaksiring, Tegalalang and Payangan. The accident occurred while going to Tampaksiring.
“Because at many points we agreed to ride a motorcycle. It's only a one meter ditch road, we really cut the road so it's fast," he said.
Wisnu emphasized that the Gianyar Regent was not injured in the accident. The Regent continued the field survey.
"He is now with me, reviewing the field again the same as yesterday, we also ride motorbikes," he said.
