DPRD Asks DKI To Make Breakthrough COVID-19 Protocol Among ASN
JAKARTA - Member of the PDIP DPRD DKI Faction, Gembong Warsono, asked the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan to make a breakthrough protocol for preventing COVID-19 for civil servants (ASN) employees in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
This suggestion arose because a number of leaders of DKI Regional Work Units (SKPD) were declared exposed to COVID-19. In fact, they routinely hold joint leadership meetings with DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and DKI Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria.
"The breakthrough protocol that does not only limit the capacity of employees to work in offices, in my opinion is positive and good to enforce," said Gembong when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, August 26.
Gembong gave an example of the breakthrough ASN protocol for the Surabaya City Government that the DKI Provincial Government could follow. The Mayor of Surabaya, Tri Rismaharini, issued a circular asking ASN to change clothes when they just arrived at the office and before returning home.
The issuance of this circular is a step in anticipation of the Surabaya City Government to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Because, currently the development of COVID-19 in Surabaya is still high.
"Surabaya made a breakthrough in changing clothes in this office in order to minimize the potential for transmission. So, clothes that are attached to the office are not used when going home and vice versa. Positive things like this can be imitated. There's nothing wrong too," explained Gembong.
In addition, Gembong assessed that all employees within the DKI Provincial Government are obliged to implement strict and disciplined health protocols. The COVID-19 protocol must be implemented continuously and must not be loose.
"The provincial government must be a pioneer in implementing strict health protocols. DKI is a big city with high covid cases, so it needs serious attention," he said.
As previously reported, on Monday, August 24, the Head of the City Park and Forest Service, Suzi Marsitawati, was declared exposed to COVID-19. Meanwhile, on August 19, Suzi attended a leadership meeting at the DKI City Hall with Anies.
Then, on Tuesday, August 18, Director of Perumda Pasar Jaya Arief Nasruddin was also infected with COVID-19.
Even so, the Head of the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) emphasized that the implementation of the leadership meeting implemented the COVID-19 prevention protocol.
Rapim participants are also required to wear a mask during the meeting, seating arrangements at least 1 meter apart and prepare a hand sanitizer outside the neat room. In addition, officials have carried out the COVID-19 test independently, so that those present are confirmed to be in good health.
"I need to emphasize that during the meeting on August 19, the rapim participant had followed the COVID-19 test procedure first, and was declared healthy. Transmission does not occur in neat rooms because we have implemented very strict health protocols, "explained Chaidir.
