Ashanty's Condition After Reporting Positive For COVID-19 Omicron Variant
JAKARTA - Singer Ashanty is reportedly one of the people who tested positive for the Omicron variant of COVID-19. He is said to have received these results according to a vacation to Turkey.
With the rumors circulating, Ashanty also raised his voice through his Instagram account. He wrote a chronology when he tested positive for COVID-19 in Jakarta.
"I did 2 PCRs in Istanbul when I wanted to go home, at the hotel and at the airport (the results were) negative. Finally, when I arrived at the quarantine hotel, I waited for the PCR results from the airport and it turned out to be positive," Ashanty said on Friday, January 7.
"I went straight to the hospital for quarantine in a hospital that has been approved by the COVID-19 Task Force team. Because I have an autoimmune disease and for my safety in the hospital, "he continued.
So far, Ashanty admits that he does not have severe symptoms in general, but in order to maintain the safety of his family, he is quarantined in a hospital instead of a hotel as originally planned.
Ashanty also straightened out some offensive comments ranging from state costs to planning a vacation to Turkey.
"It's a burden on the state when I'm at the Athlete's House. This is me in the Isolation Hospital and my dependents,” said Ashanty.
"We're not just traveling but we have a big family gathering after years of not seeing each other," replied Ashanty.
Previously, Ashanty had tested positive for COVID-19 in March 2021. At that time, he was rushed to the hospital because he had a congenital disease.
It is known that Ashanty went with his family and also brought Atta Halilintar's family. There, he kept in touch with the Halilintar family who had not yet returned to Indonesia. Even so, in his statement, Ashanty did not say whether the COVID-19 he had was an Omicron or Delta variant.
