4 Years Later, Satan's Servant 2 Is Ready To Wander Again

JAKARTA - The film Pengabdi Setan 2 is confirmed to be broadcast this year. Joko Anwar as the director shared the good news through his social media.

The continuation of the story of Servant of Satan 2 will be named Communion. This sequel was warmly welcomed by the Indonesian audience.

The film Pengabdi Setan 2 continues its first film in 2017. Pengabdi Setan tells of Rini (Tara Basro) who struggles to earn money to fulfill her family's life after the death of her mother, Mawarni (Ayu Laksmi).

Along with his departure, Mawarni's family received relentless terror. Rini is determined to find out what secrets her mother has been keeping all her life.

Pengabdi Setan is a remake of the film that was released in 1980. When it was released in theaters, the film managed to garner 4.2 million viewers in Indonesia and was screened in 42 other countries.

The film also received 13 Indonesian Film Festival nominations 2017 and won seven of them.

If nothing goes wrong, the film Pengabdi Setan 2 will hit theaters this year.
