2 Times Absence Of Examination Of Alleged Defamation, Haris Azhar Asks To Postpone Until Next Month
JAKARTA - The reported defamation case, Haris Azhar, asked the Jakarta Metro Police investigators to schedule his examination in February. It was recorded that Haris Azhar had failed to fulfill the summons twice.
"However, today we have just received a letter from Haris' attorney on behalf of Nurkholis asking investigators to postpone the examination of Haris Azhar today to February 7, 2022," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Thursday, January 6.
Originally, Haris Azhar was scheduled to undergo an examination today. However, for some reason he could not fulfill the summons.
"The reason in question has another agenda that cannot be abandoned today," said Zulpan.
The alleged defamation case with reported Haris Azhar and Fatia Maulidianti has been upgraded to the investigation stage. However, both of them are still witnesses.
"It's been investigated, but in principle Haris Azhar is still a witness," said the Director of Special Crimes at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Auliansyah Lubis.
