Mayor Rahmat Effendi Arrested By KPK, How Are Public Services At The Bekasi City Government?
BEKASI - The Bekasi City Government, West Java, through the Bekasi City Regional Secretariat ensures that the public service process for the community continues to run normally even though the regional head is caught red-handed by the KPK on Wednesday, January 5.
Bekasi City Regional Secretary Reny Hendrawati said all apparatus in the ranks of the Bekasi City Government continued to carry out their duties according to their respective main duties and functions.
"So nothing has changed, all employees continue to work normally," said Reny in a written statement in Bekasi, reported by Antara, Thursday, January 6.
He said the community can still take care of their needs to the relevant regional apparatus such as at the village office, sub-district, health centers, government hospitals, as well as at the Public Service Mall.
The same is true for services at the Investment and One Stop Service Office, the Population and Civil Registration Service, the Regional Revenue Agency, the Social Service, and all other public services.
Based on observations in the Bekasi City Government office environment, all regional apparatus that are in direct contact with the community continue to provide services. Programs and activities in the regional apparatus environment also continue to run.
It is known that the Mayor of Bekasi, Rahmat Effedi, was arrested by the KPK on suspicion of corruption. Rahmat is currently undergoing examination at the KPK.
